German flashlight WW1

Your help is necessary for me. Help define by what year of manufacture can the given flashlight concerns.
Whether the given flashlight in the First World War could be used? Thanks!

From what I've been able to find, it's a civilian model, circa 1930. It is very similar to WWI types.
