To help those with British or Commonwealth Army impressions, here are a couple of illustrations to help you understand the OR's [other rank's] and Officers rank structures.
On the Officers ranking, you'll notice that 'Leftenant General' is represented, not by what one would surmise = a pip.. but a Crown, and vice-versa for 'Major General'. Those are correct.
