The Huns could hire them out to dig their trenches! Be simpler to get some day labor guys at Home Depot.

I never really knew the scope of the GWA trenches until now. I knew they were big, but that is great.

Oh yes, they are extensive. I know our "battle" site would have entrails and planted explosives throughout. It was wild to see an artillery barrage "walk" towards your trenches!! Scott

I believe the GWA tried it at their last battle and from reports, it seemed to work for the most part with only a couple of minor glitches. I believe that they used a circuit board to blow the charges in succession.

The GWA site is 110 acres ... It is HUGE. I have been there numerous times and just the British trench system is larger than the Allied ones combined at St. Ozena. With time ours will become just as BIG. Remember the GWA has been there for a very long time and the land is owned by the members of the GWA. As Adam has told me a number of times ... 'All In Time it will come together. Patrick

I want to say the two organizations have been around the same amount of time (or close). GWA was just able to actually start paying on the land from the get go right?. I read they are only a few years from owning it outright. Maybe they do already...I read that a while ago.
Having a secure site allows you to do that.

Form my understaniding the GWA is going to have their site payed for by the end of this year. maybe early next year. One of the projects they are working on now is a farm house, making it so that members can use it to bunk in at night.
