I downloaded and printed a military cookbook from 1898 and, yup, I already made some of the dishes. Of course the wife really wasn't happy. Scott

I have the official 1916 Cook's manual and it's got some interesting recipes- all which my doctor would probably NOT recommend. :-)
It would be good to get some sort of Allied mess operation going in the future but I'm not the one to spearhead that effort! :-)
