Is there a hard and fast rule against regular infantry using grenade bags? I know they are mostly associated with Assault Troops, but they look damn handy. This may be one of those, "never say never" situations, but if it's rare for an infantry guy to have them, then I won't bother.

As I understood matters, the most commonly illustrated bags weren't issue pieces, but were empty sandbags tied together ans with side seams opened up.
I suppose it's just down to how many grenades an inmfantryman was expected to carry.
Tom (speaking off the top of my head).
