At some point down the line, we'll need to improve the shell holes. Let's face it, right now there are very few that could truly shield you from enemy fire and shrapnel. Obviously, there are many other improvements to our lines that have to be done, but we need those holes deeper. To me, the shell holes are the #1 elment of NML that one must take advantage of. Many moons ago there was corner of a blown up "chateau" out at JRT. It was before my time, but I'm sure it looked good and added another element to NML to take advantage of. I hope to see more debris out there as time goes on.
