Do the French plan on having a bunker cafe again? The Royal Marines need a friendly place to take a break at. "Uncle" Seph was pretty steamed last March event because we took a break in the action with the French. LOL!!! The hospitality was outstanding! Chocolate, coffee, and French postcards!

I plan on bringing some fantastic tasting fromage that was made in France. I asked my aunt who is Vietnamese to make a bunch of Vietnamese Chả giò spring rolls with Nước chấm sauce to add to the cafe menu. She also said that she would make me some Phở beef and noodle soup and Cơm tấm rice to take with me as well so I would not starve Patrick

Yes.... I was bloody annoyed.... especially when members are missing, cannot be found, and they are required. It would also be nice for certain mermbers to have a bit of tactical awareness, and not turn the event into a 'party - on'.. especially during the night hours. If the cap fits gents! Seph

Gee! Seph, after all this time, you still care! I'm blushing! But, as I recall, it was still light out, around 1630 hrs. I believe. My Sgt. knew where I was about, and with his blessing. Our sector still had 50% security in our abscence. The only fly in the ointment, so to speak, was that I ate the French chocolate that I was supposed to be bringing back for him.
Patrick, are you taking subscriptions for the Bunker Cafe?

Gents....this section is for General subjects related to actual French military topics of the time. The above subject (which I can already see becoming a problem) is event related.
Locking it down.
