Hey everyone, Does anyone know of a vendor in the US or Europe that sells Horizon Blue wool cloth by the yard? Or does anyone know the name of the woolen mill(s) that produce this fabric? Any help would be most appreciated.  |

I personally do not know of anyone in the U.S. or Europe that sells the wool by the yard. Most of sutlers who have this wool keep where they purchase it a secret. You might have to email the various sutlers who carry this wool if they are willing to sell you some.
I can ask my friends in France if they have a source for the wool.

If I could find the mill that produces the wool I'd be interested to see what their production minimums are, I wouldn't have a problem buying a great deal of it. |

There is a mill in Yorkshire, England which tends to produce a lot of 'specialist' cloth for re-enatctment (I believe that they are the source for the Khaki Serge used for many of the British Great War and WW2 uniforms made these days (that's only fair, they made the original stuff too).
I'll try to find a name and address - the worst they can say is No, and if they can't help you, they may well know who can.
