Straps for Gas Mask

One of my gas masks the cloth straps are completely degraded. and no matter how much repair their is another break
Does anyone have a source where I can get strap material that sort of resembles originals?

I know this sounds weird but Linen straps work very well and resemble the originals pretty well. Yes, they will be sewn and not woven like the originals. Are you planning on making your own? If so, order a pair of Civil War suspenders from Jarnagin Co. then canibalize them.
