Very cool site, Adam (especially his splash pic). My only gripe (of an admittedly very minor nature): He does not show or mention the late-war US wool tunic that was made with the pockets internal, and only the pocket flaps visible. I've seen several of these, and was wearing an original one at the last battle! Agreed, it's not as common... I first mistook it for a British tunic with US buttons when I first saw my first one decades ago (but the stand-up collar and wool color/texture dispelled that thought).
I'll take a few photos of mine and shoot him out an email next week.
