But I like my original Yes, you should like your original! ;D But, until I hit the lottery or Donald Trump is willing to bankroll me, repros are the only way for me to go.

Originals are wonderful - as an investment! I will not take mine out even to a parade - they are just too fragile! I'm so glad Schipper's finally come out with them! I'm anxious to see his pea green cartridge belts, too! Eagle-snap with proper pouches?? Then all he'd need to do is the .45 pouch!

Hopefully someone will eventually repop the .45 ammo pouches- if not Schipper, then Jerry Lee/WPG. Slowly it's all coming together. Maybe then the 1914 bandoleer for us cav types! Everytime I watch "The Wild Bunch" or "They Came to Cordura" I just can't get over the actors wearing what would be today a small fortune in eagle snap web gear. If I'd only been there...

I tried to order two of these this morning - they're already sold out! But Heather assured my there will be a second batch in two weeks, so I "pre-ordered" a couple for me and Alvaro.
Get them while you can!

I also asked her about their pea green cartridge belts. Turns out they're not in yet, so she changed the home page description on them. I asked if they were the pucker-pouch or sewn style and she didn't know. If they can do the earlier woven ones, then you know what that means.... .45 pouches!! Keep your finger crossed.

Jerry Lee/WPG was able to get a pretty convincing pucker pouch for the garrison belt pouches so I know it can be done.

I'll have to bug Jerry Lee again...he is coming out with the 1911 sweater though. We should have them in time for next year's Columbus festivities.
