For those of you who would like to have a few goodies in your pocket, here is a link to images of a few German bills:

The images are jpeg, so I have included a PDF file that shows the dimensions of the original bills I scanned these in from.
I find I get very good results using 26# or 32# linen paper, and a color laser to prevent bleeding.
