The WPG is a well made blanket - however he states that it is based on the 807 (1906) spec.
Size it matches ok - the one I received is 6' 10" x 5' 6"
The specs call for no less than 7' and no more than 7' 3" in length - and at least 5' but no more than 5' 9" in width. So, overall the size is ok - a couple of inches short - not really an issue for me. The size and position of the end strips is also ok.
The US stitched in the center is the wrong color for the 807 spec(minor - it is supposed to be the same color as the end strips - WPG's is black).
However - the weight is way off. The specs call for the blanket to be no less than 5 pounds - the one I received was only about 4 pounds 3 ounces.
So - overall a well made blanket with one fault - the weight.
