For a Tommy, make sure that you get the AMMO boots that DO NOT have the toe cap. Otherwise, Seph will have your butt, for sure!!

hey Pockets. I am in the same unit as you. I have the ammo boots from What price glory. They seem like they are pretty good, but if the ones you order are like mine, they will be stiff, and you will have to break them in.
One way I have been told how to do this is to soak them in water, then wearing the wool socks you plan to use at events, put them on and wear them dry. they will conform to your feet. I would do this myself, but it is 20 degrees outside here.
Good luck.

Hello Chaps... Pockets... thats a very good deal that WPG has for the basic Tommy uniform & equip package. I certainly would advise you to go for it. However, once you get the SD Cap, you'll require a new chinstrap.. as the WPG item is not period. Its only half the size( depth) of an original, and only has one adjustment buckle ( which is connected incorrectly). Seph Should have read this more carefully. Here I was tearing my hair out trying to get this stupid strap to fit right. Years ago when I bought the Tommy uniform the first time, the strap worked a lot better. Well now I know. Don't suppose you have any spares Seph?? I ended up getting the Tommy Package with ammo boots, but the Dubai warehouse screwed up my order and only sent the ammo pouches and WWW2 water bottle carrier. I got the uniform ok though. They sent me WW2 ammo boots too. Luckily I got a hold of Jerry before he took off and he got the warehose to fix the order. Just waiting for it to come in now. Hopefully I can get those boots broke in a bit because they have to be some of the stiffest boots I've ever seen. Better than cardboard leather that some repros have been made out of in the past.
