Here's my budding AH medal collection:
From left to right:
1. 12-year Service medal; awarded for twelve years of active service.
2. Karl Troop Cross; awarded to all troops on active service who had participated in at least one campaign.
3. Balkan Mobilization Cross; awarded to troop on active service during the Balkan Wars, 1912-1913.
4. Franz-Joseph 60-year Jubilee medal (1848-1908) awarded to all active-duty military in 1908.
5. General Campaign Medal; awarded for various minor actions from 1873, including Crete and the Boxer Rebellion.
