Hi everyone I am having problems working out from my great grandfathers service record which division he was with. - 23 Jun 1915 he enlisted with Royal Field Artillery at No. 6 Depot (Glasgow)
- He entered Theatre of War in France on the 20 Nov 1915 with British Expeditionary Forces.
- On the 24 Nov 1915 he was posted to the 9th Divisional Ammunition Column.
- On the 17 Oct 1917 he was posted to the B/298th Army Brigade R.F.A.
- He was wounded on 21 March 1918 and then transferred to the Labour Corps
Would my great grandfather still have been part of the 9th DAC when he was posted to the B/298th or were they separate. I am trying to work out who he was with when he was wounded so I can try and find what battle he was wounded in. Does anyone know anything about B/298th Bgd or where they were on 21 March 1918? Regards Colin
