Since this crosses over into a number of areas I figured it would fit here the best.
As a basic impression for the trenches would the following work?
I have sunk my money into getting weapons so I am attempting to get an impression on the cheap (And reduce time wait)
Breeches 1917 wool
Shirt wool
Sweater
belt trouser
boots french 1917
tin hat
over seas cap
cartridge belt*
canteen*
aid pouch*
bayonet*
Sheath**
M1910 haver sack maybe*
puttees*
French gas mask
Blanket
Shelter half*

Balaclava

Etool*
I don't think I could do public events with this gear, but would it be acceptable for the trench?
* indicates originals I have but the haversack looks like it is all of 100 years old.
** Is the M1917 bayonet.
