Bad news, kameraden.
Schipperfabrik has chosen to pull the plug on its line of German uniforms. We'll need to find another vendor still working that line if we're to get any replacement pieces.

Bad news, kameraden. Schipperfabrik has chosen to pull the plug on its line of German uniforms. We'll need to find another vendor still working that line if we're to get any replacement pieces. Take a look at Soldier of Fortune, located in the UK. A lot of their field gear looks exactly like Schipperfabrik's. From the available photos, their uniforms look better than the usual Chinese fare. The prices, even with shipping, seem reasonable. Their items seem to be extremely accurate, and the quality appears to be outstanding. From the available photos, their uniforms appear to be on par with GWM's. Their prices, even with shipping, are very reasonable. Don't forget, Lost Battalions ,who's acquired the New Columbia patterns, will also be starting a German uniform line. www.lostbattalions.com/

There's also two other sources that can be taken into consideration, though I don't think most guys would be willing to wait so long. Stefan le Floch in France does excellent work, though you will have to wait for a long time before he completes your order. He's not a full time tailor. You can contact him at stefanlefloch@aol.com vikenslf.skyrock.com/The Fehrle brothers also do excellent work, by the look of it. They don't accept payment through PayPal unfortunately. You can contact Bernd Fehrle at bv.fehrle@t-online.de www.reenactorforum.waszmann.de/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1156681783/112#112I also saw Ian McWherter was working on a pattern for German uniforms, though he's put that on hold for now to fill existing orders and to focus on French uniform items. He might be willing to do German uniforms once he's not so busy and there's enough interest. Schuster's website is the worst...can't get anything. What do you mean?

The website is all jumbled up and there's no way to pull up their items.
Well, we'll see how it all plays out.

OK, well unless something's changed, the last I heard was that they're taking orders until the end of the year and that's it.
