For all you dinosaurs still using the forum, MARCH 9 is the first ever, ground-breaking back ho'ing extravaganza at King's Crossing.
I'll be there at 8 am, as I'm told the back hoe will also be there. Come out for tea and crumpets and a little diggin'.

OK all those Allies going the GWHS Dig Day next Saturday (March 9, 2013) ... I just talked to Sean W and it looks like they might not have enough people from the CP there to lay out thier new trench lines on the ground in chaulk so the backhoe operator will know where to dig it out at ... so I am going to ask if there are plenty of idle hands on the allied side that can are there to PLEASE also assist our 'enemy' lay out thier trench lines. Please get with Adam M and Larry D on the CP side to find out what they need help on over there with. I am sure they will appreciate all the help we can assist to them and i am positive they will do the same for us as well ... this whole new trench system no matter who's side it is is a benefit to everyone in the GWHS Thanks Patrick Allied Brigade CO

We appreciate the offer of help, and will of course be cooperating with our Allied brethren (frenemies? LOL) to ensure the most efficient use of the backhoe on Saturday. Cheers, Larry

I figured we all can work together on the initial dig as TEAM on both sides to get them laid out as quickly as possible so the back hoe operator can get it all done as fast as possible if he can get those done relatively fast he might be able to more than we think I know if I had the one operator we had in the ANG back in my unit, he can dig very FAST and accurately Patrick

Thanks to all who made it out to Saturday's dig, and to Will Price, a true artist with a backhoe. Major progress was made, and there are trenches on both sides of No Man's Land, ready to be attacked and defended.
