One of my contacts in Bavaria sent me an image depicting the 2nd Chevauleger uniform per the 1916 Uniform Regulations. The uniform on the left is the formal parade uniform nad the one on the right, the field uniform. It's doubtful if any of the formal uniform were made (at least I haven't seen any surviving originals) but the field uniform is more probable as the war moved into 1917-18 (when it comes to cavalry, most photographic evidence seems to center on the 1914-16 period and later photos are much more rare).
Basically, it's the 1915 Bluse (which was formally adopted by the Bavarian Army in 1916) with unique shoulder boards.
