Good news! 'Carry On, Sergeant!' (1928) (Not the British comedy of the same name) is being released on DVD-R by a Canadian film buffs group sometime this year. You wanted a film with Canadian Highlanders, here it is. They also have for sale 'Lest We Forget'(1935) a documentary on the Canadian war effort.
