What sort of cost would I be looking at to get fully booted and spurred?

I already have G98 = $650.

The rifle is a major chunk... :-)

For the rest, it can range between $1000 to $1500. You may be able to get some of the items cheaper off of reenactors getting out of the hobby. The best thing to do before buying anything is check with you unit commander- better to avoid making any expensive mistakes.
