Well - what was called the type "B" rimless helmet started to trickle its way to the front in October 1915.
How many made their way to Wieltje is a different matter.
Any idea on when this specifically is supposed to be taking place?

In viewing it, it mentions late 1915 with the introduction of Phosgene Gas.

This ones that bug me are the larger budget features where there's really no excuse whatseover.
