I am looking for the best books written for WWI as well as U-Boat books. Can someone make some suggestions? The suggestions can be for rare, old and new books.

May I suggest "To the Last Salute," the memoir of Georg von Trapp's service as an Austro-Hungarian submarine commander during World War I. Von Trapp wrote it in the 1930s, but his granddaughter translated and republished it in English a couple of years ago, to it's easy to find. Great read too.

Thank you Larry for your suggestion. I went out and bought this. Would you have any more U-Boat suggestions? Could I also ask if you have anything to suggest when it comes to the RN from 1914-1919. I am interested in all facets of the U-Boat Wars and the RN. Would appreciate any help you can give.Thanks.
