spearhead militaria the guy does replica uniforms etc the place is ran by an eBay vendor who has a lot of good reviews check out his ww1 stuff i wold like a reenactors professional opinion on this vendor. i don't know how to attach his eBay site to this forum. yet the address is stores.ebay.com/Spearhead-Militaria

The moral of the story- stick with known sources. Pretty much everything is covered one way or the other by decent vendors (with a few exceptions).
Ebay should be used with great caution and definitely not for uniforms. Benefit from the experience of those who have gone before and save yourself some grief.

Just to add a little to what John & Adam have put forward. The older and wiser of us have had many dealings with various sites / vendors over the past, and have accumilated a vast store of knowledge. In your own unit, there will most probably be someone with greater knowledge than yourself. All of us will be only to willing to help anyone out.. with a view to getting it correct historically, and saving other individuals cash.
The basic road to take is this... "If in any doubt : ASK!!!"
