Michael and I have discussed this and we can BUT I am in need of getting more items for my basic kit. I hope to have my greyback and boots and a tin binny ASAP. So, what tools should we bring on the first day?

For this weekend just snacks/food and water.

General weekends - hammers, shovels, post hole diggers, water (for construction), wire cutters,
gloves, bucket/pail, tamper (? - i.e. something to pack down dirt), saws, gloves, etc.

Usually if I'm there (and more often than not I am) I'll have most of the above (several hammers,
several shovels, a couple post hole diggers, etc.) - so maybe just gloves and personal snacks,
water.

No problem then, will be there on site.

Anyway, I'll bring my gear to show you so you can evaluate it.

Edit: Speaking of which, can you bring the badges on saturday too? Much appreciated.

I'll double check - but I think I put them in my car over a month ago. So - yes, I'll bring them.

I want to thank ... John and his son, Taisho, Clayton and Frank for going out to the site yesterday and laying out our new Allied Trench Lines, they are going to look AWESOME.
These guys deserve a big hand for getting out there and getting the new site underway

Just a reminder ... March 10th they will start the digging of the trenches according to the lay out ... please make sure that if you can to mark it on your calender, head up to the site and help out with the dig.
