Painting my helmet and,was wondering if anyone had an opinion on this paint opposed to other various shades of cammo green spray paints? I don't mind the extra cost if the paint is realy more accurate but,why pay $16 for paint that is no better than a can that costs $5?

The problem with 1944 paint is that it chips off the first time you drop the helmet. I personally think its a waste of money. Our unit standard is Alexander and Son's. Their paint job is $60 BUT it is 100% dead on to the original paint formula and is just as tough as the original paint job from the factory. Save yourself a ton of frustration and a bunch of wasted money and just send it to them Dan

I have to agree, the 1944 Militaria spray paint is of extremely poor quality. Considering the exorbitant price, it just isn't worth it.
