A point to remember though about British uniforms of the WW1 and pre-WW2 era's. They were both the same, or rather the post WW1 to late 1930's British uniforms were of a very similar pattern to the WW1 period. The Regual and distinctive Battledress of the WW2 period came into being late in the 1930's. So, although Pathe-News is an excellent source for WW1 material.. be aware that what you are watching, especially shots of camp life, could actually be Post 1920's.
