According to the DOD POW/Missing Personnel Office, the remains of Private Henry A. Weikel, 28, of Mt. Carmel, Pennsylvania, were found in France and have been returned to his family for burial. Pvt. Weikel is to be buried in the veteran’s cemetery in Annville, PA (close to Ft. Indiantown Gap). His burial comes some 92 years after he was killed in action in France in WWI.
