Does anyone have a list of kit for the "German Marines" in the photos. That impression would work really well here in Texas in the summer. Thanks; Christian

The uniforms we used for Seebatallione III based in Tsingtao were cobbled together from various sources. The pith helmet is American style (identical to German style) stained tan. The tunics are Luftwaffe WW2 tropical tunics from Hessen Antiques, virtually identical in color and cut to the Imperial tropical tunics (see Somers: Imperial German Uniforms and equipment 1907 -1918) although some adjusted the pocket flaps by tailoring. The brown buttons were replaced with brass ones. Regarding the helmet plate and shoulder boards, these were special order items. Contact me if you wish to get the information about where to get them. African bush hats have been found in a source in Africa, oddly enough, thingyades need to be ordered from another source. and one of our leatherworkers has been making tropical style pouches.
