SCHIPPER M2 Can Revisited

Since people seem to rather bleat amongst themselves than go to the source ... I thought I would add photos of my M2 cans which some people have been maligning so much it is nearly an Olympic event. The very first cans we made had problems with the tabs coming lose. On EVERY can returned I re-riveted the tabs on. On the next batch this was improved. Here is me lifting my 60lb son by the leather thong and tabs and then standing on the same can. The can is still fully serviceable and I will be using it in two weeks at an event.

FYI to all,

Any threads regarding the current "climate" of French goods will be watched closely. As a German reenactor myself...I have no dog in the fight and will moderate evenly. Incendiary language will be deleted and threads that get out of hand on this issue will be locked. Everyone has a right to state their facts and opinions, but I will not let this get out of hand here.
