Well then, those clubs look amazing! I've not seen a more authentic and realistic looking club that can be safely used. Great job!

I make a habit of staying away from Larry during the battles as he tends to draw too much fire. Case in point: The mortar round that struck him in the chest last battle!

Patrick is always trying to get me killed--grenades, clubs, tempting auctions on Gunbroker... ;D -Larry

Speaking of shovels, rubber shovels/entrenching tools make for an interesting and period-correct melee weapon. At the last battle, some of the 311th MG guys brought out rubber 1910 US E-tools and they were pretty convincing.

Good old leftovers from Windtalkers. I've got one along with a rubber pick mattock somewhere.

I'd love to get some more of those- any ideas who made them?
The first time I used one, it scared the bejeezus out of the German I was going up against- he actually thought it was the real thing. ;D

Sorely tempted (especially the one on Gunbroker), but the wife would have killed me for real! -Larry

My only complaint would be the length. 30.5" is a bit long. I like the head on it though. I know there are original examples with those types of heads. If it were around 18", I would like it better.
